CDI's Certified Federal Resume Writer

Now you can convert your existing non-CDI Federal Resume Writing certification to the CDI Certified Federal Resume Writer (CFRW) credential.

If you are concerned because you earned a certification that is now not verifiable or recognized, then it's time to convert it to the CFRW in a few extremely easy steps:

Submit a federal resume you have written;
Submit at least three (3) KSAs you have written;
Complete a 7-question, short-answer test.

Update requirements:

In order to demonstrate your commitment to staying abreast of industry changes, the CFRW credential must be renewed every three years for a fee of $50.00. For consideration you must submit:

1. Sample federal resume;

2. KSAs (at least three).

Update requirements and active membership are a prerequisite of retaining the CFRW credential. CDI reserves the right to revoke this credential if these requirements are not met and maintained.

Why is renewal necessary? Because the federal government changes aspects of federal resume writing and it is critical to stay abreast of those changing requirements.
